9月5日，西农创新者联盟举办了学术交流in English活动，分别从当前主要的发电方式及其特征、多能互补、海洋能三方面展开探讨。
同学们积极参与，其中在the main power generation methods交流中，肖先威同学谈到：The existing power forms in our country include thermal power, hydroelectric power, solar power, wind power and nuclear power. 并分别介绍了火电、水电、光伏、风能以及核能的主要特点。战玉燕同学针对海洋能应用前景发表了个人观点，ocean energy is a kind of renewable energy, so it is very important to develop ocean energy.The ocean contains huge energy, so it is worthwhile to study new technologies for exploiting MRE. 并谈到海洋能利用创新型技术的开拓发展，对当代工程师素养提出了新要求，而这正是大家努力的方向。最后师生就多能互补展开讨论，大家谈到comprehensive development of energy has become an inevitable trend, the coordinated power generation of wind energy, solar energy and water energy has been applied in field. Multi-energy complementarity makes great contribution to alleviate the contradiction between energy supply and demand, as well as protection and utilizationof natural resources reasonably, 更重要的是具有更好的环境效益。
同学们一致表示此次交流活动不仅拓展了知识面，更是锻炼了专业英语口语，希望将来有更多的机会参与类似活动。本活动的成功举办也为创盟社团新学期活动策划提供了思路，未来创盟将积极响应同学们反馈的信息开展活动。
